Cruise the LA River path on a laid-back, no-drop community ride—celebrating Earth Day, safe streets, and local connection.
About this Event

We’ll roll out together at a welcoming, no-drop pace for an 8.6-mile community ride starting at Homegirl Café, traveling along shared roads, bike lanes, and a dedicated bike path connecting to Marsh Street Nature Park. Designed to be supportive and beginner-friendly, this ride is perfect for new riders, families, first-time city bike users, or anyone looking for a relaxed, community-centered experience on two wheels. Expect a mix of neighborhood streets, protected lanes, and scenic river-adjacent riding as we move together through Los Angeles.

Framed as an Earth Day celebration, this community ride highlights safe, accessible routes while showcasing local bicycle infrastructure and the power of active transportation. Along the way, riders will learn practical safety tips, build confidence navigating city streets, and experience biking as a realistic, healthy, and sustainable way to get around. The ride is also an opportunity to slow down, explore local neighborhoods, and strengthen community connections through shared outdoor movement.

This ride is a great opportunity to:

  • Explore protected bike lanes and low-traffic routes in a supportive setting
  • Build confidence riding in a beginner-friendly, no-drop group
  • Celebrate Earth Day through active transportation and environmental awareness
  • Connect with neighbors, local organizations, and community programs
  • Experience an 8.6-mile route linking vibrant neighborhoods to nature

Come ride with us, bring a friend, and be part of a welcoming community experience that celebrates safe streets, sustainability, and connection—together on two wheels.
