Home Educator / Digital Future Day: Relaxed Opening
About this Event
What is a `DFD: Relaxed Opening/ Home Educator Day?
Our special Relaxed Openings are created exclusively for families within the neurodiverse community, offering a calm, quiet environment to explore the world’s largest collection of working historic computers. These days are particularly suited to visitors with autism or other special needs, who are welcome to attend with siblings, parents, and carers.
On the Day: Journey from WWII electro-mechanical code-breaking machines to the birth of the digital era and the rise of personal computing. To support a stress-free visit, the Museum provides a Visual Story and Sensory Map, and all activities are drop-in sessions, so learners can self-direct without the pressure of a formal schedule.
We will be offering various Drop-In Activities & Workshops on this 'Halloween Themed' Digital Future Day.
