Drs. Stanislav und Christina Grof haben in den 1970er Jahren das holotrope Atmen auf der Basis einer langjährigen klinischen Therapieerfahrung mit erweiterten Bewusstseinszuständen, der modernen Psychologie und Bewusstseinsforschung sowie dem Studium alter Weisheitslehren entwickelt. Das Wort "holotrop" ist aus dem Griechischen abgeleitet und bedeutet "sich zur Ganzheit hinbewegend".
Das holotrope Atmen ist eine Arbeit der tiefen Selbsterfahrung und der Heilung. Es bietet einen sicheren und kraftvollen Zugang zu erweiterten Bewusstseinszuständen und ihren transformativen, therapeutischen und heuristischen Potentialen.

Es sind maximal 16 Teilnehmer/innen. Je nach Gruppe wird der Workshop auf Deutsch oder Englisch, mit Übersetzung wenn nötig, gehalten.

Holotropic Breathwork Basel: Theory and Practice
Holotropic Breathwork was created in the 1970s by Drs Stanislav and Christina Grof based on many years of therapeutically working with expanded states of consciousness, modern psychology and consciousness research, and the study of old wisdom traditions. The word 'holotropic' is derived from Greek roots and means 'moving towards wholeness'.
Holotropic Breathwork supports deep inner self-exploration and healing. It provides secure and powerfull access to expanded states of consciousnes and their transformative, therapeutic and heuristic potentials.

There are a max of 16 participants. Depending on the group, the workshop will be held in German or English, with translation if needed.
