Holocaust Testimony in Words and Art
Keynote speaker: Samuel D. Kassow, Charles H. Northam Professor of History at Trinity College (Hartford, CT), will speak about the Ringelblum Archive, a collection of documents and materials created in the Warsaw Ghetto to document life in the ghetto and the fate of Polish Jews. Dr. Kassow is recognized as one of the world's leading scholars on the Holocaust and the Jews of Poland.
He is widely known for his 2007 book about the Ringelblum Archive, Who Will Write Our History?: Rediscovering a Hidden Archive from the Warsaw Ghetto.
