The thanksgiving holiday is fast approaching, and what better way to kick it off than by giving back to the local community. The UM club is organizing a volunteer event at Minnie’s Food Pantry (661 18th St. Plano, TX. 75074) on Saturday, November 16th ,2024 from 7:45 am to 12 pm. We are looking for up to 10 people (age 16 and over) to volunteer.
This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community. Our group will be responsible for a variety of tasks including interacting with clients, providing concierge service to clients, cart running, preparing cold bags, unloading trucks, stocking shelves, sorting items, preparing boxes, administrative tasks, etc.

Minnie's Food Pantry (MFP) is a nonprofit organization that believes overall wellness begins with healthy food and financial education. Our ultimate goal is to provide numerous programs that help families gain long-term food security and to break the generational curse of people (especially children) in low-income areas not having access to fresh fruits and vegetables.
