Join us to explore and celebrate nature and our local native plants in winter time.
*Wreath making!
*Wild mistletoe gathering!
*Toyon (California holly) cider stewing!
*Pinecone decoration painting!
That's because nature is the reason for the seaon. We'll learn about all the ways nature is the true historical centerpiece of yet another modern holiday, and we'll do that with the nature itself.
The plant supplies will be both foraged from the wild and brought from my home grown supply.
This is a short, flat, and easy 1 mile walk around the park. Nature crafting supplies included. Nature and community is one of the reasons for the season!
Bring a reuseable mug for cider, and any treats you want to share. I'm bringing persimmon cookies baked from my own persimmon tree harvest. Compostable cups will also be available.
