JOIN US FOR A 2-HOUR WORKSHOP on ways to make -- and share -- festive jewel-colored jams as a holiday treat! Nothing is more special than delicious homemade treats from friends and family. With a little time and practice, you can create delightful delicacies in no time -- and at a reasonable cost, too!We’ll do a step-by-step demonstration of water-bath canning of 2 different fruit jams. Students are encouraged to participate in the process of food preservation by working with the canning tools and equipment. You'll receive handouts on basic canning info and easy recipes to try at home.
We’re expecting lots of Q&A and laughter during class! Each class is limited to 10 students and will likely fill quickly; please register ASAP to avoid disappointment. CHOOSE ONE of the following sessions on Saturday, Dec. 6 during your registration process:
10 AM - 12 PM
1 PM - 3 PM
(4 PM - 6 PM - if the other two sessions sell out, we'll add one more)
Class fee is $40.
