Build and wire your own industrial pipe lamp! We will be using hand tools and iron pipe while learning about the different ways to create lamps for your home. Finished lamps will be between 24 - 30" tall, depending on your design. Your class fee covers all materials (pipe, lamp wiring kit, etc.) and tools will be available to help you make your illuminated masterpiece.No experience necessary! Class will be held in our outdoor classroom; dress appropriately for the weather and for working around power tools. (Closed-toe shoes, tie back long hair, etc.) Wear clothes that can get dirty.
Class size is limited to ensure everyone leaves with a finished project, and preregistration is REQUIRED. Class limit is 10 attendees. Open to all genders.
Class fee ($25) + custom materials ($35) = $60 total

INSTRUCTOR: This class is offered through Central Ohio Women in the Trades. COWIT is a nonprofit organization focused on the education, recruitment, and retention of women within the various trade unions around central Ohio. CHRISSY MARSEY will lead the pipe lamp class.
