Holiday Decor & Costume Swap

Thousands of tons of holiday decor and costumes are thrown away each year. Come swap your unwanted holiday decor and costumes with neighbors in the community!
This month we’re swapping ALL TYPES OF HOLIDAY DECOR + COSTUMES. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, winter, whatever holiday you celebrate — bring it on. Decorations, lights, ornaments, wreaths, costumes, wigs, accessories, table decor, yard decor… if you’re done with it but someone else could use it, we want it here.
We throw away a LOT during the holidays. Household trash in the U.S. increases by about 25% between Thanksgiving and New Year’s, and costumes add to the already enormous amount of textile waste we generate every year.
So instead of buying something new for a celebration this year, let’s see what our neighbors already have.
Everything at the swap is FREE. No selling. No trading item-for-item. No need to bring something to take something. The goal is simple: keep perfectly good stuff out of the landfill and help a neighbor who may not have the extra money to celebrate this year.
OCTOBER 10 • STARTING AT 11 AM
📍 Rosewood Provisions
Please bring clean, gently used items that you’d be happy to share with your neighbors. No broken, stained, unusable or “maybe someone can fix this” stuff, please. ❤️
Want to contribute?
Bring your items to Rosewood Provisions anytime before October 9th so we can get everything organized for the swap.
Come drop something off. Come find something you need. Come browse. Come say hi.
Let’s make celebrating a little easier — and keep a whole lot of perfectly good stuff in use.
