Holiday Cheer - Christmas Sugar Cookie Decorating Class

Learn everything you need to get started in this sweet hobby and walk away with festive cookies and full of holiday cheer.

Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Just looking for a little fun anyone in the family can do? The Never Ending Cookie Jar is here to help! In this class, we'll cover the basics of sugar cookies (yes, it’s totally beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, and talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies.

We’ll be enjoying Santa’s favorites for an appoximately 1.5-2 hour cookie decorating class! Don’t miss out on this fun 6-cookie, 4-icing class – “Yule” love this class!.

You'll leave class with a half dozen (6) Christmas-themed decorated sugar cookies, plus a whole bunch of knowledge about the process of sugar cookie baking and decorating. We'll also send you home with a FREE gift! While in class you'll enjoy light snacks, non alcoholic beverages, and a whole lotta holiday fun.

Things to bring:

Wondering what you need to bring to have a successful time decorating? Well – nothing’s required – but here’s the things we recommend if you’d like to elevate your experience!

· Bring your glasses! There’s a television and a paper to help you decorate, but if things get blurry far away, seeing glasses may be a great bet.

· Bring your phone! We love it when students take pictures throughout class – so bring a phone! Just don't forget to share your pics!

· Bring a good attitude! Cookies are fun, but they're also challenging! A good attitude makes all the difference.

and if you REALLY want to:

· Bring an apron! Things can get messy when you’re workin’ with royal icing – so grab an apron. Apron's are definitely not required, but if you've got a Christmas inspired one....bring it, and I'll defnitely tell you how much I like it (and probably ask you where you got it)!

The Never Ending Cookie Jar just celebrated its 5th birthday this year! We are a subscription based cookie company based in Mebane, NC. We believe "Life is Just Better with Homemade Cookies." We ship dozens of cookies all over the US every single month. When it comes to gourmet cookies, we know a thing or two! We love cookies, and we love to share scrumptious cookies with everyone!

We started offering cookie classes over a couple of years ago as a way to get out of the kitchen and hang out with the community. We love decorating sugar cookies, especially Christmas cookies. We know you're gonna love this class! Our classes are filled with fun and knowledge....oh and maybe a sweet or two.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

We get it, somethings LIFE just happens. Our Cancellation Policy is:

We allow you to cancel up to 3 days before the class with a full refund. No questions asked. Just submit a cancel request online, and we will take care of it. Please note Refunds can take up to 7-10 days for your bank to process. Its not our fault, we promise. Refunds cannot be processed any less than 3 days before class.

Any cancelation within 3 days (72 hours or less) prior to class will result in a credit for another class OR a take-home kit. We cannot provide clas credits or take-home kits, if you do not contact us BEFORE class begins. So if you wake up, not feeling well, email us right away!

Take Home Kits

Order your sugar cookie class kit and take the class home with you to teach a child or friend! These class kits come with everything you'll use in class including our easy to follow step-by-step instructions! Cookie Class DIY Kits are created before your class, and you'll pick them up and take them with you after class.

How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but I recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home. Cookies are heat sealed for freshness – but again, use it in under a week to make sure it tastes the best.

If you cannot make it to class, you can still order a kit! We will happily arrange pickup at a convienient time from our Cookie Cottage in Mebane, NC.

Allergens

Heads up – these cookies include the following ingredients: flour, butter, eggs, and sugar. Our cookie icing contains food dye colors.

Please note – these cookies are prepared in a kitchen that also bakes with common, known allergens: gluten, soy, and nuts of all types.

Please consider your allergies before registering. At this time, we are unable to accomodate allergy requests.

Class Cancellatiton Policy

Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund including your Event Brite fees (if any apply).

Classes with attendance below 10 will be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either have your ticket moved to a future class (along with my apologies), or a full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance 7 days before the event is canceled so that you can bring a friend (hint hint) or find other plans for that day.

Weather Policy: Sometimes Jack Frost doesn’t play well with cookie class schedules. In the event of inclement weather, I’ll contact you with options – these may differ depending on the weather event but rest assured – we’ll figure something out

Event Brite Fees: EventBrite charges its own booking fees. These fees are NOT covered by The Never Ending Cookie Jar. Should you have to cancel for any reason, Event Brite does not refund its fees. If you cancel your ticket and request a refund prior to the cancelation window expiring, I’ll happily give you a refund less the fee – since I don’t get this fee back either. Event Brite keeps it regardless of whether you show up or cancel. I know – I hate it too!
