Christmas Sweater Cookie Decorating Class at Bright Penny Brewing
Get ready for a festive, creative evening filled with seasonal fun and holiday cheer! Join a hands-on cookie decorating class on Thursday, December 18th at 6 PM inside Bright Penny Brewing in Mebane. Learn step-by-step techniques to turn delicious sugar cookies into edible works of art by creating your own set of CHRISTMAS SWEATERS!!
No experience needed—just bring a love for sweets and a sprinkle of creativity. Sip on your favorite Bright Penny brew, enjoy great company, and leave with beautifully decorated cookies (and maybe a few crumbs).

No experience is necessary - our talented instructor, April, will guide you through the process step by step. All materials will be provided, so just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to create some edible works of art! Whether you're a seasoned baker or just looking for a fun night out, this class is perfect for anyone looking to have some fun creating delicious treats. No Refunds ~ as each cookie set is made especially for you, we cannot offer refunds, if you find yourself unable to attend, please contact me at [email protected] to arrange to pickup your cookie class kit that you can decorate on your own at home.
Eventbrite Fees: Your ticket price does not include your ticket fees. Eventbrite charges these fees for the use of it's ticketing platform. Please note that no refunds are allowed and that includes fees by Eventbrite.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
A FUN time! We love decorating cookies and we love sharing that with YOU even more!
We'll set everything up for you, and provide the icing & tools you need. You just show up on time and ready to learn! We will decorate the cookie set with you and share all of our tricks & tips along the way.
This class is designed to be fun for beginners and more experienced decorators alike. We suggest no one under the age of 12 however so that we are able to keep the class moving and stay on task with our timeline. All attendees do require a ticket, we cannot accommodate spectators.
COME HUNGRY and/or THIRSTY - our fabulous host boasts a menu full of delicious appetizers and full entrees as well. They also have a large selection of beverages including beers on tap, as well as sodas. Be sure to come early to grab a meal before class or feel free to order during class if you desire. They are sure to have something to delight your palate and quench your thirst! Come early and grab dinner to support our host!
Soooooo .... what do you need to bring to have a good time decorating? Well – nothing’s required – but here’s the things we recommend if you’d like to elevate your experience!
- Bring an apron! Things can get messy when you’re creating with royal icing – so grab an apron (AND if it’s cute – I’ll definitely be asking where you got it).
- Bring your glasses! If your eyesight is anything like mine, you'll need them for the finer details.
- Bring your phone! I love it when students take pictures throughout class – so bring a phone!
- Bring a good attitude! Cookies are fun, but they can also be challenging! A good attitude makes all the difference.
- REMEMBER, it's JUST a cookie! This is going to be a fun time, no pressure, no stress! And if you REALLY don't like your design, you can just eat the cookie! The #1 rule is to HAVE FUN!
