Join us for an introduction to bookbinding, just in time to make custom, beautiful holiday gifts! Follow along with Laura Castanos at Jubilee Artisans in DeKalb this December and make a hardcover book with a ribbon bookmark, pretty end papers, and smooth paper for journaling and drawing, with multiple colors and designs to choose from. Step by step, we will prepare the hard cover, bind a single signature of paper, attach a ribbon, and finish the book with the proper tools and methods. Perfect for a relaxing artsy-craftsy date night or friends-night-out in DeKalb with a professional artist. You can say you made something cool and useful for yourself or as a gift by your own hands! It will also be small enough to be a stocking stuffer.
We will have additional kits and instructions you can take home to make more custom gifts, or, to do a holiday craft together!
