Spun presents a celebration of late 90s and early 2000s vibes - and the jazz, afro and latin music that inspired that period, including producers and musicians from West London and across Europe to creating pioneering nu-jazz, broken beat, bruk, drum n bass and electronica.
For this special event, we're delighted to be able to welcome drummer, percussionist, producer, writer and Gilles Peterson favourite, Emanative. Nick Woodmansey (aka Emanative) has been playing and making records inspired by jazz for a couple of decades and has released music on some of the coolest labels in the UK, including Brownswood and Jazzman. He'll be bringing us the finest treats from his collection, including the deepest cuts of future and spiritual jazz.
We're also excited by the return of Mr Higgs, resident of Brixton's Chip Shop with his monthly 'The Headnod' residency. Newly resident in Worthing, Andy blends the finest of old with the cutting edge of the new.
