UTC+09:30Location
303/28 Bishop Street Woolner, Darwin City, NT, Australia, Northern Territory 0820 | Darwin, NT
The event will include 3 timed rounds of games, recorded via Best Coast Pairings to allow players to rank on the national tournament ranking. Player cost for the event is $40.00, which will go towards a prize pool and covering event expenses. Payment is to be made in-store either prior to or on the morning of the 21st of September.
The games will be played under the 10th edition rules and will use the Pariah Nexus Approved Mission Pack and Tournament Companion. All Games Workshop Indexes, Codexes, FAQs, Erratas and Point Values are applicable to those released on, and including, the 7th of September 2024. Each team will consist of two players, with player fielding an army of up to 1000 points (Incursion Battle Size restrictions apply to each list) as per the Core Rules. The same Codex cannot be used by both players in a team (this also applies to any Codexes used for allied unit purposes). For the purposes of objective control, if either player on a team controls an objective, it is considered to be controlled by both players on that team. Each Player will have their own separate allocation of Command Points, which can only be used on stratagems that their force has access to. However, both players on a team cannot use the same Core Stratagem in the same phase (unless they have a special rule allowing an exception to this rule). If a team chooses to discard any Stratagems at the end of their turn, the Command Point gained from this is allocated to one of the players (decided by team members). The restiction of gaining 1 additional Command Point during in a Round is applied to the team as a whole (ie the additional Command Point can only be gained by one member of the team each round). For the purposes of Battle-Ready scoring, each player in a team will contribute 5 points of the Battle-ready score (ie if only one player in a team has a force painted to a Battle-ready standard, the team will score 5 points for Battle-Ready). For the purposes of Secondary Objectives, teammates will share their secondary objectives with one another (ie one Secondary Objective Deck will be required for each team, rather than each player). Any specific questions not covered in these resources can be directed to the TO.
Games will be played on Strike Force size battlefields (Minimum 44” x 60”). List submission is to be completed by participating players by 23:59 on the 14th of September using Best Coast Pairings (https://www.bestcoastpairings.com/event/7NBKGWV3BF).
Shane will be the Tournament Organiser (TO) and is contactable on email [email protected].
