About this Event
Please note that registration is required and carpooling is highly encouraged.
Join HWF for a family-friendly birding outing to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day. Hitchcock Woods is a haven for migrants, and Heather Levy, Education & Grants Coordinator, will guide this walk to look for both migrating and breeding birds. We will meet at the Stable on the Woods entrance (263 Rubins Cottage Lane, Aiken SC 29801) and walk a ~2 mile loop - please note that trails are sandy and have grading topography. We will walk slowly, taking plenty of breaks to look at birds. There are no public restrooms or places to refill a water bottle, so please plan accordingly.
