Join us for a tour of the Clay Street Cemetery, presented by the Fairbanks Genealogical Society.Learn about the history of the cemetery and Fairbanks, and the people buried beneath. See the changes made as we preserve or replace the headstones, document research done, and plan for it's continued upkeep. New headstones will go in again this summer (volunteer helpers welcome!)
This walk is FREE!!!! and all ages are invited.
New this year is a microphone to make hearing the talk easier!
Bring a chair to enjoy refreshments and conversation afterward. Our meeting will be held after refreshments, where we discuss genealogy. It is always a great time.
This tour will be changed to a later date if the weather is not cooperative. Watch this event for any changes!
