As a travelog and natural history film lecturer for seven years, a teacher naturalist at the Dahlem Conservancy, and an elementary classroom teacher in Jackson County, Allen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this event. He holds an Associate’s Degree from Jackson Community College, a Bachelor’s in Wildlife Biology from Michigan State University, and a Master’s in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University.
Through his stunning photography and engaging storytelling, Allen will share the rich history of one of Jackson's longest-running nonprofit organizations.
