About this Event

Boston, Ohio has a long and rich history. In fact, it’s been someone’s hometown for well over 200 years—and even longer for Native peoples! While visiting the Boston area, immerse yourself in the town’s fascinating past and discover its connection to the Ohio & Erie Canal.


LOCATION

This presentation will be held outside near Boston Store Trailhead River Access: 1550 Boston Mills Rd, on top of the Finding Our Way Home mural next to pedestrian bridge.

Accessible parking only at 1550 Boston Mills Road, Peninsula, Ohio 44264. Others park nearby at Boston Trailhead, 1508 Boston Mills Road.

In case of rain, we will meet at the Boston Gallery (1565 Boston Mills Road, Penisnula).

About Rebecca Jones, Interpretive Ranger at Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP):

Rebecca Jones has a long history as an interpretive park ranger, 37 years of history to be exact. Her love of history started as a child and was fed by the many activities during the nation's Bicentennial. The love of history, genealogy, and storytelling have served her well in her time as a park ranger.
