HISTORY HIGHLIGHT TOURS: Technology in 1920s America!
Explore unique stories of American life in a 1920s Kansas town with our special History Highlights Tour Series – and this month’s theme is TECHNOLOGY IN 1920S AMERICA!
Life is moving fast in America – it seems like technology is changing by the minute! Explore all the new inventions around our 1920s town, from telephones and electricity to automobiles, gas stations, and canned food, and how people in America were adapting! Each tour includes special featured stories and a custom guided route led by our professional museum staff, who get to highlight their favorite facts and collections around our town and farm. Tour starts July 11th promptly at 10:30am!
Tour is included with General Museum Admission (admission rates can be found on www.ShawneeTown.org). FREE ADMISSION WITH A JOHNSON COUNTY LIBRARY CARD 10AM-12PM! Card sign-ups will also be available to all! Tours are designed for adults and kids 5th grade and higher. No RSVPs and space is first–come first–serve, so come early to claim your spot.
