Enjoy an evening that showcases influential African American residents of Manassas!• Enjoy free snacks, drinks, and crafts!
• Join Dante’ Eubanks, Family historian and genealogy researcher, for a short talk and guided exploration of your family’s roots. (5:30pm)
• Curator Mary Helen Dellinger will share a behind-the scenes look at objects in the Museum’s collection related to local black history. (6:15pm)
• Watch a short film about how Manassas residents have been inspired by the life and work of Martin Luther King, Jr. and share your own experiences on our community response board.
• Complete a scavenger hunt of the Museum’s exhibits to be entered to win raffle prizes. (Drawing at 6:50pm)
