The community is invited for a special evening with author and Grace UMC church member Bob Mitchell on Sunday, February 1, at 7:00pm (rescheduled from Saturday, January 24). The event will be held in the Grace UMC Community Room (lower level building). Bob will share insights from his book, “The Partisans: James G. Blaine, Roscoe Conkling, and the Politics of Rivalry and Revenge in the Gilded Age,” an engaging look at power, personality, and political intrigue in American history.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase, with all proceeds benefiting Grace UMC.
