The sound and its tributaries were once home to one of North Carolinaโs largest commercial fisheries. Mr. Bennett will make special reference to technological development in these fisheries, from their earliest days during the colonial period to their decline in the 20th century.
The Museum will offer the History for Lunch program in-person and through Zoom.
