The Warren County Historical Society is proud to partner with SUNY Adirondack and the Warren County 250th Commission to present History Day: The Declaration of Independence — A 21st Century Perspective.
As the nation marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, join us for a morning of discussion exploring what this founding document means today.
Our own WCHS Treasurer, historian John Berry, will be joined by SUNY Adirondack faculty Jessica Best, Ph.D. (English), Mark Dragoni, Ph.D. (European history), and Wendy Johnston (political science) for a multidisciplinary look at the Declaration through historical, literary, and political lenses.
Free and open to the public. Advance registration requested.
