Writers Project: Mark Mayer

Mark Mayer, author of “About, Above, Around,” is an assistant professor of fiction writing at Skidmore College. He has taught creative writing as the R.P. Dana Emerging Writer-in-Residence at Cornell College and as a faculty fellow at Colby College.
In his latest book, “About, Above, Around: 50 Prepositions,” a collection of short stories, Mayer skillfully uses the part of speech that defines relationships between nouns and verbs as an allegory to describe human emotion.
Writers Project events are free and open to the public. Join us outside the Forum in Bryan Hall, or via Teams.
