Friday, April 17th: CLOSED to the public for school field trips
Saturday, April 18th: Join us from 10am-4pm
Explore authentic 18ft tipis, learn about the life of an early plainsmen, try archery or tomahawk throwing, learn to spin, experience traditional Ojibwe dancing and more.
At 10:30am, we invite everyone to join us at the Historic Wetzel Cabin for a brief Lutheran Church Service in the birthplace of the Lutheran Church in the state of Kansas with Pastor Tim McCall
Parking is located at Junction City Middle School (0.5 mile away) and horse drawn wagon rides will be available to the site from 10am-1pm. Concessions, including fresh kettle corn, will be available--cash is recommended.
A suggested donation of $5 can be made at the gate. All proceeds benefit the Geary County Historical Society and the upkeep of the Spring Valley Historic Site.
