Historical Marker Unveiling, Oneonta Fairgrounds

Join GOHS on Saturday, August 22, at 11am to unveil the NYS Historical Marker for the Oneonta Fairgrounds (top of Fair Street near Belmont Circle).
The Fairgrounds marker commemorates the site of the Central NY Fair from 1873 to 1927 and its racetrack (now Belmont Circle).
Immediately following the unveiling, GOHS Librarian Wayne Wright will lead a tour of the historic Fairgrounds.
This event is free and open to the press and public.
This marker is funded by the Future for Oneonta Foundation (FOF) and generous donor Wayne Wright.
