Tour of the Charles Ives Birthplace Museum

Tours are Thursday, Friday, & Saturday at 10:30 am.

Tours originate at the Ives Birthplace Museum located at 5 Mountainville Avenue, and take roughly 60-75 minutes. We ask that visitors do not knock on the doors on non-tour days as there is a tenant onsite.

Take a guided tour of the birthplace of Danbury's Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, Charles Edward Ives. Learn about the sights and sounds that influenced Ives, as well as the Danbury he would have known so well as a young man. The great impact of the Ives family on Danbury history is explored here as well.
