The Best of Show: Award honors the most exceptional motorcycle, chosen for its outstanding craftsmanship, popularity, and impressive design, transcending its class to captivate the crowd and embody the perfect blend of aesthetic appeal and mechanical excellence.
Best Custom: A bike's initial visual impact frequently integrates a 'wow factor' with unified design, showcasing superior craftsmanship in fabrication, engine modification, and bespoke bodywork, complemented by meticulous finishing touches such as custom paintwork, polished surfaces, and precise attention to detail including concealed wiring and bespoke hardware.
Best Paint: A bike representing the pinnacle of artistic expertise, flawless technical execution, multi-layered application enhancing the vehicle's aesthetic, frequently incorporating groundbreaking techniques, precise detail work, and an intense, mirror-like luster.
Best Classic: Bikes older than 30 years with notable historical, aesthetic, or engineering features that distinguish them from merely old bikes are considered classics. Bikes manufactured between 1980 and 1996 are included. Motorcycles may be in their original condition or restored to match their original specifications.
Best Vintage/Antique: motorcycles are valued for their historical, technical, and stylistic attributes. 'Vintage' usually pertains to pre-1980s models, whereas antique motorcycles can originate from as early as 1915. They can be found in restored or original unrestored condition.
Best Rat: Not just an old bike, a true rat bike is creatively repurposed and reflects the builder's individuality. While it may appear worn or abandoned, the bike is usually in good working condition, designed for maximum riding with minimal maintenance.
Best Small Displacement: A bike with an engine capacity under 250cc, category for scooters, mopeds, pit bikes, mini bikes, dirt bikes, and road racers.
