The smoke is officially returning to the Western Slope! We are thrilled to announce the inaugural Rocky Mountain BBQ Classic coming to the Mesa County Fairgrounds May 8 & 9. It’s been too long, Grand Junction, so get ready for 2 days of world-class BBQ, bull riding, and live music!The event will be emceed by Brian Duffy ("Bar Rescue," "BBQ Brawl," "Beat Bobby Flay") and features a high-powered roster of celebrity pitmasters who will showcase their craft on the demonstration stage, including:
• Kevin Bludso (James Beard Award winner)
• Lee Ann Whippen (BBQ Hall of Fame Inductee)
• Stan Hays (CEO of Operation BBQ Relief)
• Mary Cressler & Sean Martin (Vindulge + 20 years of recipe dev)
• Andy Allo (Michelin-starred training; acted in Prime's "Upload" and performed on-stage with Prince)
• Rasheed Philips (star of Netflix’s "American BBQ Showdown")
