This headliner is such a cathartic treat of a live performance. Get up close and personal and pushed around while a tall dude shouts at us over noise and industrial bassy beats. Sounds nothing like Death Grips because he absolutely has his own style, lyrical theme and overall aesthetic, but that's an easy name to compare this music to. He also played at Arctangent which is an insane achievement, especially for someone with such a specific, abstract and experimental style. Other big names might include Ghostemane and Scxrlxrd. POINTLESS INTENT from Kent/London
Super catchy hardcore and beatdown riffing with a natural bounce and flow akin to bands like Sunami and even RATM if they were still cool and not sellouts, except way, way harder. For fans of a pure hardcore set, this will be the one to see.
LIZARD FLEX from Folkestone
True classic underground UK boom bap hip hop, absolutely for fans of any of the HighFocusTV acts such as Dirty Dyke, Four Owls, Jam Baxter etc. Full of tongue twisters and displays of catchy flows. You can often catch him at Small World and most recently he played a show with Ramson Badbonez! Real OG Ftown rapper represent.

WOMBSTONE from Folkestone
My band! We're really fun, trust. We play an experimental take on powerviolence and grindcore, mashed up with sort of mathcore and jazzy techniques and technical ability. Very fast drums and very fast guitars. Extremely charismatic and entertaining frontman.

We went to Spoons after the show at Speedway and the whole Ftown crowd was still out and about. I told one of my friends about this hip hop hybrid show and he told me that he's been making Memphis rap. I immediately offered the slot to him. There's a bit of jungle and trap in there too, what an eccentric blend.
