About this Event
100 Years of Gardening Together
In celebration of our 100th anniversary, the Hillsborough Garden Club presents our Garden Tour 2025. This milestone event will feature ten private gardens carefully cultivated by their owners, in addition to three public gardens maintained with the help of garden club members.
HILLSBOROUGH GARDEN TOUR
The Gardens
- A quiet sanctuary minutes from downtown Chapel Hill, the Eberts Garden features rock paths, Japanese maples, and artful placement of plants that create a Zen-like atmosphere.
- On a previously undeveloped lot, the Carnahan Garden is now a certified wildlife habitat that features unusual native trees, pollinator plants, and whimsical touches.
- The Conger Garden showcases deer-resistant, shade-loving plants of a variety of textures and year-round interest in a serene setting.
- Sitting on a sunny hillside, the Yost Garden beckons visitors through a jasmine-trimmed archway that leads to delightful beds of spring flowering plants and shrubs.
- A four-acre woodland preserve, the Loovis Garden highlights nearly a dozen garden rooms that invite visitors to sit and soak in the soothing quality of the forest.
- The NC Botanical Garden is the state’s premier home of native perennials in their natural settings.
