Hilbre Island Rangers are. offering a FREE open day event on the Island to go and watch the seals and are also opening up the buildings on the Island for the public to explore. I'm happy to go along and be a host for the event. The actual event time is 10.30am and is on till 2.30pm. But I have put 10.00am as a meet up time to give people time to get to the event before actually walking over to the Island at 10.30am.
Meeting point at West Kirby Train Station. I will be coming by car, so its everyone's responsibility to find their own way to get to West Kirby Train Station.
Children in pushchairs and toddlers aren't suitable to attend the eveng. Due to walking across wet sand and the uneven terrain as you get onto the island. Which can be slippery if wet on the smooth uneven rock surface.
