Hiking with Pride: Nature Walk on Little River Trail in Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Date: Sunday, February 23rd*
Time: Starting at 1pm (ending time determined by group pace)
Location: Sugarlands Visitor Center
Meet at Sugarlands Visitor Center at 1 PM to either purchase a parking tag for your own vehicle (one-day tag is $5) or carpool. Trailhead is about 20 minutes from Visitor Center.
Little River Trail is a fairly flat, wide trail with a gradual incline that follows the river. We will walk 1-2 miles total (depending on group comfort level) at a leisurely pace while stopping occasionally to point out plant or animal life. Please wear comfortable footwear and dress for the weather!
Please be aware you will not have cell service inside the park as well.
