Starting from Jiantan MRT you hike along the ridge behind Songshan airport which offers lovely views of the city. You walk up stone steps and along forest trails, making your way over to Jinmianshan. At Scissor Rock you can stop for some photos, then continue down into Neihu, ending at Xihu MRT. This is a moderately strenuous hike with one section that is more technical as you climb down over large boulders.
