The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community is an annual fundraising walk that benefits local health and human service nonprofit organizations.Through 2025, the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community events have raised more than $20 million for 560+ health & human service nonprofit organizations.
The primary goal of the walk is to help participating organizations raise money for their individual missions. One hundred percent of the funds raised through this event go directly back to the participating organizations, as Highmark underwrites all the associated costs of the event.
Walk activities will be held in the Erie Parking lot and the walk route will take walkers through the campus.
Walk Day Schedule:
7:45 AM: Walker Registration Begins (for people who did not register prior to walk day)
8:30 AM: Opening Ceremony
9:00 AM: 5K Walk Begins
9:10 AM: 1Mile Fun Walk Begins
11:00 AM: Event Concludes
