HIF Presents BBQ & Brews – San Jose

Get ready for a full day of smoke, craft beer, and live music in the heart of downtown San Jose at BBQ & Brews!

Hosted at Cesar Chavez Park, this first annual festival brings together some of Northern California’s best BBQ pitmasters, craft breweries, and live bands for an unforgettable celebration of food, beer, and community.

🍻 Craft Breweries Competing

Sixteen breweries will compete for bragging rights and a $5,000 prize, with select ticket holders receiving sampling access. Confirmed breweries include:

Barebottle Brewing Co • Alpha Acid Brewing Company • Laughing Monk Brewery • Lost Coast Brewery • Narrative Fermentations • Foxtale Fermentation Project • San Francisco Brewing Co

Beer judging will be led by Master Cicerone and BJCP Grand Master Judge Max Finnance, one of the most highly ranked beer judges in the world.

🔥 BBQ Competition

Sixteen BBQ teams will fire up their smokers to compete for the title of BBQ & Brews Champion. Featured teams include:

Lord of the Ribs • Cuzzos • Paper Platez• Bernie's BBQ• Bones Sauce N Harmony• CenCal Smoke• El Mero Mero Taquero• Los Mexi"Q"tioners• Pops Barbecue• Smoked Seduction

The competition will be overseen by Head Judge Tracy Allen of the California BBQ Association, ensuring world-class standards and serious pitmaster bragging rights.
