About this Event
Discover the art of cooking over coals with Byron’s own Pip Sumbak. In this relaxed, hands-on session, you’ll learn how to properly manage charcoal on a hibachi, create heat zones and cook beautifully over coals, all while picking up essential techniques that make hibachi grilling so special.
Pip will guide you through an Asian-inspired menu featuring simple, flavour-packed dishes: think yakitori chicken or venison skewers, curry butter prawns and Spanish mackerel or tuna tataki. Along the way, you’ll gain the confidence to recreate these dishes at home.
Expect plenty of tips, smoky aromas and a fun, relaxed atmosphere as we explore one of the most satisfying ways to cook. Perfect for anyone who loves bold flavours and the magic of charcoal cooking.
Guests will then be invited outside to enjoy a glass of wine and chat with Pip and enjoy a buffet-style table dining experience with the food.
