Overview

Join us at the beautiful Hermitage Park for a morning of photographing the best that Edmonton’s River Valley has to offer.

Where do we meet?

We will be meeting at the trout pond at Hermitage Park. Look for the blue London Drugs shirts!

When does the event start?

The Walk leader will begin 5 minutes after the initial meeting time, so be ready! We will have a representative wait at the initial meeting point for 15 additional minutes to welcome any latecomers.

Photography Experts On Location:

Meet the experts! Staff from local London Drugs will be on-site to discuss cameras, photography tips, and gear recommendations during our stroll through the beautiful wetlands.

Birding and nature photogrpahy.

What to Bring:

Enthusiasm and excitement! But if you're looking for an actual list, it is recommended you bring the following items: bug spay, water bottle, and weather appropriate clothing. In terms of camera gear, any camera will do (even if it is a mobile phone). If you are a camera buff, the longest lenses you own will be ideal for capturing the beauty of some of the local birding wildlife. Optionally, a tripod is always handy. Don't forget to charge your batteries and bring your memory cards!

Bonus! London Drugs hosts a series of photographic and video training courses for the Edmonton area. We will be hosting a 3 part video production series in conjunction with the Hermitage Park Walk.
