Join us over the weekend of 12-13 September for a host of free activities celebrating Heritage Open Days.
This year's theme is Everyday Histories. We're exploring the rich stories found in the personal diaries in our collections with a hands-on diary archive showcase.
We'll be curating a temporary exhibition and talks exploring tales and events we've discovered in these personal archives.
There'll also be a chance to get creative at our conservator's drop-in paper marbling sessions where you can try your hand at the ancient Japanese technique of Suminagashi or floating ink.
We'll have behind-the-scenes tours too.
