The Adventures in Childhood: Story and Craft Sessions
About this Event
Join us on Wednesday mornings during the school summer holidays for free family story and craft sessions at the University of Suffolk Waterfront Gallery and Foyer.
Each week will be inspired by a different children’s book illustrated by Helen Oxenbury. We will be reading one of these wonderful stories together before taking part in a fun craft activity and making something to take home. There will be time to explore the exhibition of Helen’s illustrations, Adventures in Childhood, which is on display in the Waterfront Gallery until the 11 Sept.
Parents and guardians will stay and get involved and siblings are welcome too. Please book a space for the number of children in your family age 4-12 and limited to 4 per family. Spaces are free but we please ask that if you find you’re unable to make it, that you cancel your booking to make it available for someone else.
These will be held in the Waterfront Building Foyer.
Note that accompanying adults do not need to reserve a ticket, please only book a ticket for children taking part in the activities.
