New to heritage grant funding and not sure where to start? Want to brush up your skills and improve your chances of a success? This session is for you!

About the workshop
This practical workshop delivered by Medway Voluntary Action and The National Lottery Heritage Fund covers where to look for funding what funders look for in an application, grant writing, and practical tips for success. You’ll also learn about local support available to for those looking to secure funding.

Whether you're just starting out or refining your approach, this session will help you apply with confidence and clarity. This session is a mixture of practical excercises, presentations, Q&A and discussion. The workshop is designed for anyone who works or volunteers in heritage or who has an idea for a heritage project.

About the Medway Heritage Place programme

In November 2023, The National Lottery Heritage Fund named Medway as one of 9 places who will benefit from £200 million of investment as part of their 'Heritage Places' initiative. The initiative responds to local need and opportunity, supporting places to use heritage to build pride in place, inspire local communities and power regeneration.
