Mothers in Focus: Free 8-Week Photography & Wellbeing Workshop for Mums

Are you a new or expecting mum? Feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or just in need of a creative outlet and supportive space?

You are invited to join Mothers in Focus, a free 8-week photography workshop designed especially for women navigating the emotional journey of early motherhood.

The project began on the 16th of March, and we are now opening additional spaces for more mums to join. This is a great opportunity to take part in the programme while it is still in its early stages.

Mothers in Focus is a welcoming, supportive, and creative space where mums can:

• Express themselves through photography.
• Explore their emotions in a safe and understanding environment.
• Connect with oth.er mums who truly understand the journey
• Build confidence and rediscover their creativity

No photography experience is needed, just bring yourself and an open mind.

Over the 8 weeks, you will:

• Learn simple and creative photography techniques
• Use photography as a tool for storytelling and self-expression
• Take part in relaxed, guided sessions
• Share experiences and connect with other mums
• Gain a sense of community and emotional support

• When: Mondays, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Location: Hypha Studios, Two Walter Burke Way,
  Western Avenue, Chatham, Medway, ME4 4RQ

This workshop is open to:

• New mums
• Expecting mums
• Any mum experiencing the challenges of early motherhood
