The Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum’s annual 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒚 celebrates the social and recreational history of this historic community and highlights the significant people and homes that make the town unique. The event takes place on the grounds of one of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s beautiful historic properties, and features fine food and drink from our sponsors, both live and silent auctions, entertainment, and special costumed guests to bring us back to an era of the home’s past.
This year, we are delighted to return to the McArthur Estate, one of Niagara-on-the-Lake's most magnificent historic homes, for our 2026 Heritage Garden Party on September 11.
For nearly two centuries, this stately home has borne witness to the unfolding history of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Its story begins in 1796, when the land formed part of a 160-acre grant to the Honourable Peter Russell. This September, its gardens will be shared with us for an afternoon.
