A weekend of honest, hands-on country craft
Come and learn how real cider is made, Rull Orchard is an award-winning Devon cidery, loved for its sustainable approach, its traditional orchards and its care for wildlife and biodiversity. For one autumn weekend, we’ll take you from tree to bottle as you relax in the surroundings of Ashley Court; a Regency country house set among historic gardens, woodland and rolling Devon countryside.
You’ll pick heritage apples, make cider with your own hands, taste Devon cider and perry, and share seasonal meals cooked to pair with every glass, with a celebration dinner on Saturday night by chef Gerald Pospichil, recently of Michelin Guide-listed Lara, Vienna.. On Sunday you’ll head home with your own cider and pickles, and a skill you’ll want to use again. No experience is needed, just curiosity and a healthy appetite.
