About this Event

We are thrilled to be launching Book Bingo – a brand‑new adult reading challenge that offers a fresh and rewarding way to enjoy books!

How it works
From Tuesday 5 May, pick up a specially designed Book Bingo card from any of our libraries and read or listen to a book from each of the six categories. Every time you complete a category, cross it off your card. Complete all six and you’ll earn a prize – an exclusive Book Bingo tote bag!

Who is it for?
Book Bingo is open to all adults. Whether you’re a lifelong bookworm or just getting back into reading after a break, this challenge is designed to be inclusive, relaxed and easy to enjoy at your own pace.

In this the National Year of Reading 2026, Book Bingo celebrates the joy of reading and its positive impact on wellbeing.
