Herbal Teas - Junior Garden Club

Join the Garden Club of Elizabethtown for a deliciously educational program where we turn garden greens into warm, soothing treats! We’ll start by learning about the amazing power of plants, focusing on herbal teas that are safe and healthy for kids to drink, and the wonderful benefits they offer. Then, we’ll step out to the library's garden beds—the ones you may have helped plant—to gently harvest fragrant leaves and flowers, focusing on native Kentucky plants that make the best brews. Finally, we'll return to craft our very own custom herbal tea blends to taste! It’s a perfect, hands-on way to connect the health of your garden to the health of your family.
