Learn to grow culinary herbs & heirloom tomatoes from seed to start your very own delicious home garden! You'll choose from a variety of herbs and heirloom tomato seeds for a total of 48 plants to get your garden growing!
Fresh herbs and tomatoes pair perfectly together offering robust flavor to many culinary dishes, providing a season full of fresh summer goodness to quench your palette.
Maggie, who germinates 1,000's of seeds every year, will guide you through all the basics of seed starting. Including, proper timing for planting your seedlings, keeping plants healthy, along with numerous tips for frugal seed starting, getting the best harvest, and ways to use your harvest. Maggie is especially fond of tomatoes and enjoys starting a variety of heirlooms from seed every year. Everything from seed to table will be covered in this fun workshop.
Gardening is a wonderful way to relax and rejuvenate. This workshop will be held in our beautiful Vintage Window Greenhouse where you'll also take in the sounds of nature & the lovely view of the gardens as they begin to awaken from their winter rest. You are welcome to BYOB & snacks to enjoy.
