Learn to grow cut flowers from seed to start your very own beautiful and rewarding home cutting garden! You'll choose from a variety of flower seeds from annuals to perennials & also herbs to give your cutting garden a nice selection of flowers for a season full of summer blooms & bouquets!
Maggie, who germinates 1,000's of seeds every year, will guide you through all the basics of seed starting. Including, proper timing for planting your seedlings, keeping plants healthy, along with numerous tips for frugal seed starting, post-harvest care, and ways to use your blooms. Everything from seed to vase will be covered in this fun workshop.
The process of seed starting and gardening is a wonderful way to relax and rejuvenate.
This workshop will be held in our beautiful Vintage Window Greenhouse where you'll also take in the sounds of nature & the lovely view of the gardens as they are waking up from their winter rest! A perfect way to spend the day!
You are welcome to BYOB & snacks to enjoy.
All materials needed to complete your projects are included along with personal instruction by Maggie, owner or Nettle Creek Lavender Farm. NO previous experience is necessary!
