Helping the Helpers

Training objectives include:

· How to apply basic principles of Polyvagal Theory for personal and professional growth

· Identify factors that impact autonomic nervous system effectiveness

· Learn tools that can be used to improve interactions and communication

· Preventing compassion fatigue

Facilitator, Dr. Rebecca Bailey, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and forensic psychologist who specializes in complex case scenarios, including experiences of extreme trauma. She has over 30 years of experience in the field and continues to be dedicated to the notion that authenticity, common sense, and kindness are the most important elements of effective treatment. She is a lifelong equestrian and animal lover who continues to believe animals, in particular horses, have much to teach humans about curiosity and compassion.
