Here at Food Forward, we recover surplus produce locally through our Backyard Harvest Program and Farmers Market Recovery Program to make sure good food gets to communities, and YOU can help by volunteering your time!Whether you’re looking to join us for a volunteer shift or want to get more involved as a trained Event Leader, there’s a role for you, and we have opportunities all across LA.
💪 Want to volunteer?
You can sign up for general volunteer shifts anytime—we’d love to have you join us in recovering fresh produce and getting it to communities in need. This event is set to recurring because we host produce recovery events year-round and we’re always looking for volunteers to help fight food waste and hunger.
